 This year marks the centennial of Daniel Burnham’s visionary Plan of Chicago that shaped the city and suburbs for generations to enjoy. Art Historian Jeff Mishur explores Burnham’s transition from the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition to the City Beautiful Movement manifested in the plan and how it relates to European and American precedents.
